(July 12, 2020, 8:12 pm)We had AMAZING service and absolutely fantastic food here (they kept refilling our tea to make sure it was hot!) Since it’s just been renovated, it’s really nice and clean inside, and everything on the menu was unexpectedly very reasonably priced AND portioned. Our family found a new favourite place in the west end.

(July 1, 2019, 2:37 am)First time at New Dragon and was surprised by the quality. Unassuming location in a strip mall that hid a decent authentic Cantonese style Chinese restaurant.
Recommend the Chicken Fried Rice with Salted Dried Fish. This taste great, much better then the English translation if the Cantonese name for the dish. The Salt and Pepper Squid is done with a tempura style better so much lighter than the usual versions. It's combined with various deep fried vegetables making the dish more complex with complementary flavors and textures.
If you're in the area, I recommend giving this neighbourhood restaurant a try. Good value for the money, tasty and the service is friendly.
