Really loving my experience with this club! As a smaller person, I appreciate learning how someone my size can still be effective in self defence against someone bigger. Lots of practical skills to be learned, which was what I prefer over the showy stuff
I've been training in this martial arts system for more than 10 years now. The focus on practical self-defense is central to the way they operate. It's accessible to people of all body types and athletic ability. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone who wants to learn to defend themselves as a general life skill.
This school immediately gets you immersed in self defense. If you are looking for MMA style, this school is not for you, but if you are looking for one of the most effective, efficient self defense system to defend yourself against 1 or more assailants, this is the place you want to be. You will learn more here about anti-rape, knife attack and multiple attacker techniques than anywhere else in the city.
I've been training with MPDA Martial Arts for about 5 years in total, and my experience has been great. Very focused in Self-Defense, with techniques that really work, for all skill levels. Two thumbs up!
