They seemed thorough. At the day of the procedure though suggested a change to the "smile" procedure. Post surgery my sight is a lot better than without contacts however not as good as with them and the left eye is definately not as good as the right. Everyone who had PRK has great reviews if I did it again I would have the PRK at the Calgary office since they were good here but a little disorganized. I should say I do not regret it though.
Currently 5 days POST PRK surgery and could not be happier with my experience.
Dr. Van Westenbrugge at the Calgary Gimbel Eye Centre was PHENOMENAL- incredibly calm, comprehensive and did a GREAT job at putting my mind at ease throughout the entire process. I am VERY impressed with the professionalism and care the entire clinic displayed from beginning to end. The front end nurse on the day of my surgery (June 22nd) in the downstairs room was VERY friendly and welcoming as well- certainly made the entire experience a positive one.
Would recommend the procedure and clinic 110%
i had my eyes done here 14 years ago they are still great ! very professional and i seen someone say they dont guarantee it for life.. well its your body and it can change anytime, there not trying to gain business i found like the laser clinics who i have heard and know so many horror stories about, they are to help you with you vision and are honest and professional.
