(December 8, 2018, 10:46 pm)Most of the trail is great and maintained. I do wish more of it was cleared of snow and ice sometimes though. Great scenery and if this trail doesn't include it it connects to Fort Edmonton, a composting centre, a couple boat launches, many info and historic sites, and plenty of access from main roads.

(September 14, 2018, 7:24 pm)Well-maintained trail network with a pretty bridge going across the river from Fort Edmonton.
Just be ready for some steep slopes, the river valley can get really steep here. There's even a 200 step staircase going up the one part, but there was construction at the bottom when we visited.
The trail system is fairly out-of-the-way without a vehicle however, you're best bet is walking in from Fort Edmonton Park. -

(July 7, 2018, 4:53 pm)This is my favorite place, around Edmonton. Very well maintained trail. 400 stairs to give you a challenging workout. Birds, nature scenery. Don't want everyone knowing, though. ????
