(May 24, 2022, 12:54 pm)This was one of the most impressive museums I've ever seen for a small town. The sheer number of items and artifacts was amazing! There were approximately 6 to 8 galleries spread over two floors including a local wildlife display which was very well done. The staff member in the gift shop was very friendly and helpful. Admission price was very reasonable at $10 when we visited for the main long weekend and the gift shop had a very wide variety of interesting items to choose from as well as some free ones. Highly recommend!!!

(July 23, 2019, 1:13 am)Your admission price covers both the museum and the Police Barracks (which was newly renovated and officially opened in 2018). Both are delightful to visit and we especially liked the dress-up photo ops and the chance to share your opinion in the Rum Runner Murder Trial. If you like Dark Tourism, this is definitely a must-see!
