Lovely owners. Knowledgeable staff. The EIR Test Drive is a great gift and the cost is reasonable for the experience and allows 2 tickets to an event. The races were entertaining with announcers providing audible information. There are interactive breaks. Food for sale. General seating. Easy to find location. Consider bug spray and hats as it is outdoors and the elements can be brutal.

I completed the Stock Car Test Drive at the EIR on a nice hot sunny day. It was an enjoyable experience. The head instructor had us walk around the track first to give us the overview and safety talk. This was really appreciated and put the mind at ease in case something went wrong in the test drive. I found the 5 initial warm-up laps to be almost too slow and was eager to start getting up to a reasonable speed by the time the 10-lap stint started. But, once we started running the laps, they went by quickly. My recommendation is don't feel timid - put the pedal down and get going. One downside of being over 6 ft is that my line of sight was blocked by the windshield header and I couldn't see the flagman. I had to turn my head sideways and look upward to watch for the flags. So be mindful of this. Otherwise, this was a good introduction for anyone wanting to try out a stock car on a racetrack and would make a great gift for a young driver.

What a great experience! I bought the 10 lap race car test drive for my son a couple years ago but due to covid we didn't use it, but they the gift certificate never expired and we finally got our day on the track. Loretta was very responsive and helpful with the booking and did everything to make sure things went smoothly for us. Everyone that works there seems to genuinely enjoy their job. My son had a blast and I had a relaxing afternoon in the stands spectating and we were even invited on the track after to check out the cars. 11 out of 10 would highly recommend!

I purchased test drives for my kids and I as a Christmas gift. We had so much fun! I’ve been known to speed on the highway, sure, but I was timid to be in a real race car! But everyone was so good at encouraging me. Everyone is knowledgeable and experienced and takes good care to explain everything. Once I got a few laps under my belt, I got more confident to get some speed. So much fun! The people at the track just want you to have fun. They are all so friendly. My kids, who are young adults, felt pretty stoked to be driving on a track. We all agreed that we want to do this again!
