Coach Jill in Cochrane

Jill has been an amazing coach for me. Pushing me when I need it as well as knowing when my body needs to rest and heal. She’s a great motivator and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jill

I contracted Jill as a fitness instructor while she lived in BC. She is an amazing coach that connects with clients at their fitness level. She is great at making modifications as well as making things more challenging. Her passion and great personality make her fun to workout with. If you get the opportunity to workout with her, prepare to have a great workout and be inspired!

Working out with Jill was always a high light of my week. Even if she pushed me a bit harder when it was just a one-on-one workouts. She has a wonderful positive energy that the brings to every class. She is very knowledgeable and explains the benefit of certain stretches and how easy it is to incorporate them day to day.
In larger classes, she always made time to show a variety of modifications to make the workout work for everyone's skill set. She was always extra attentive to my Grandma when she was participating. Jill would hold her hand and show Grandma proper modifications while keeping an eye on the rest of the class.
Jill made working out a fun family activity that I looked forward to every week.
All in all, I would recommend attending a class with Jill at least once to share in some laughs, sweating, and growth in workout knowledge.
I miss her greatly. If I didn't have her to teach me proper techniques, I'm sure I wouldn't be working out at home at all.

Jill was my personal coach for 3 years in Vancouver and became a best friend! She is a continual student & teacher always bettering her knowledge to help her clients. The year and a half I trained with Jill was one of the best things that’s ever happened to me! Her teachings changed all areas of my life. I met her on the road to recovery after years of pain with a herniated disk and other orthopaedic issues. Over a few months, most of my pain had subsided and I had become a “mover” like I was when I was a kid. I was doing things I hadn’t done in over 25 years - things like jumping and somersaults (seriously). Learning to move my body again in natural ways under Jill’s skilful eye and knowledge was exactly what I needed!

Coach Jill encouraged me to do things I never thought I could (like pull-ups, or lifting really heavy weight). She gave me renewed confidence in my physical abilities. Because of her, I got certified as a trainer myself and work to help other pianists move better!

Basically, Jill gave me a new lease on life. This woman is the real deal - she’s fierce, strong and graceful. If you’re looking for an amazing trainer to get your previous movement abilities back (and more), you’ve found her!
