Great campground, the road to get there is a bit rough (gravel, not paved) but my friend's SUV had no issues getting there. There's water available (not safe for drinking though). No showers nor flushing toilets but the outhouse was pretty clean and well maintained. Remote and quiet, I did not hear a single RV generator running.
The waterfalls are awesome and the campsite was so pretty, surrounded by so many tall trees. Not too many mosquitoes. It did get cold at night.
There is a first come first serve space.

The name of the campsite is Ram Falls Campground, not Ram River Falls Campground. The campsite is a true Canadian wilderness experience. The sites are very far apart, some of the largest sites we've been in. Many sites are drive-through. The campground is far from civilization. Be prepared to be off the grid, no internet or cell phone. It is dry camping, bring your own water. Truly worth the 60 km drive on unpaved roads to get there. Dead quiet, dark skies, the best of Canadian camping.

This is a magical place. The falls are powerful to behold. Remote but not a far drive (your mileage will vary) with a clean and quiet campground.

Spectacular view of a waterfall, foothills, the Rocky Mountains, sheep. Gravel road to get to it. Not an easy drive. One of the most memorable trips I have ever taken in Alberta. Has picnic tables and firepits for day visitors.

One of the most quiet places I have been to. May long weekend and was the only one in our campground. A little far of a drive to get to and the road is not paved all the way. However the drive out to the location is an experience on its own. If you want to explore other areas apart from jasper or banff, this is a great start! There are plenty of camping spots along the way as well. It is off the beaten path so tp speak so you will be alone..very very alone there. No cell service, no one to hear your screams at night as a bear or sasquatch hauls you out of your tent and makes you a meal. 😐. So be safe. Be prepared. And be woods wise. Some minor trails for hiking. Havent explored the entire area yet, but obviously the falls is a go to place. Have fun!!!
