I ordered 1 scoop of foothills ice cream in a bowl and a homemade sugared donut. The ice cream was a generous sized scoop and fairly priced, but I was so disappointed in the donut! It cost over $4 and it was so hard and stale. I'd say it was a couple days old. I'd visit again but would just stick to the ice cream.
The location is great, as you can sit out back and admire the spectacular view of the mountains and the beautifully landscaped golf course. -

(March 25, 2023, 11:29 pm)We were traveling to Abraham lake and wanted to have lunch. The photo is not as beautiful as it was delicious 🥰 This is the most delicious sandwich what we had in Canada. If you visit the lake, be sure to stop by Canteen 👍

(February 14, 2023, 3:22 pm)We popped in to the Canteen for a coffee. I had the mocha latte and my friend had a hot chocolate. Both came with a homemade marshmallow. We had a raspberry muffin and chocolate chip cookie. So delicious! The perfect treat after a winter hike. They have a nice spot to eat in. I'm coming back in the summer for the bbq and live music!
