(April 2, 2022, 4:58 pm)I'm torn on this spot. When we first moved into town, this place was amazing. We loved coming, and planned on being regulars. Lately, this pub seems to get more and more run down. We came last night for a dinner date, and immediately when we sat down, I thought it smelt like cigarettes. I thought it was maybe just another patron, so I shrugged it off. As people came in and out of the pub, I realized that there were people outside smoking closely to the door and it was wafting in. As an ex-smoker, this is immensely distressing, and essentially ruined our dinner. The steak sandwich I had was surprisingly tender, and the cesar salad was good. My husband ordered a Philly cheese steak and fries with gravy. We never got the gravy, the fries were way too crunchy, and the meat was dry. I have had their pizza in the past, and would order for carry out, but this will be the last time we come here sadly. To me, having people smoking so closely to the door the smoke comes in is unacceptable, against city code, and makes it feel dirty, aged and gross.
