(August 22, 2023, 7:52 am)Incredible little store that includes groceries, gas, souvenirs, a café / restaurant / ice-cream parlour, post-office, and clothing. They're also a hotel, but I haven't yet had the pleasure of staying here. Somehow they seem to have everything you might need in a very small space. Staff are very helpful.

(July 23, 2023, 6:14 pm)Very polite and helpful staff. They'll let you try any of the flavors you'd like before you make a decision for an ice cream cone. Their scoops are usually quite generous and you have multiple options of ice cream, ice cream container, and sizes. We like to get a single scoop made into 2 smaller ones for the little kids so they can have 2 different flavors and the staff are happy to oblige. The cost is quite reasonable as well.

(July 3, 2023, 1:09 am)We stayed here @ Bear Country Inn for 3 nights last week…very impressive set up that complements the Barn Store really well. Nice, quiet, clean and spacious room with a character - the sensory night lamps is a smart adder. Great country side experience and a smart alternative to the expensive Waterton hotels at this time of the year - it was only a 20 mins or so drive to Waterton from here.
Our stay included a lavish hot breakfast (with some nice options) and it’s prepared right after you order.
Big shout out 👏👏 to Jeff and Stephanie (3rd generation owners) for establishing such an awesome ONE STOP SHOP - very popular ice cream place, convenience store with fresh produce, Canada 🇨🇦 post, impressive gift shop, gas station.
Their complete facility is Solar powered since last couple of months now and they’ve seen a drastic reduction in their electricity bills. Great initiative 👍 and truly inspiring to see energy transition happening across the country side in Alberta.
I’d highly recommend this place for it’s outstanding service and for what all it has to offer at a reasonable pricing. -

Stays include breakfast, spacious rooms, a/c and quiet. Avoid the crowds at the and the expensive rooms at the Waterton townsite and stay here!
