The pool is wonderful. There is a lot to do for all the kids. Waterslide splash area and a little super shallow area for Babies. The downside is my daughter has anxiety and there is almost nowhere that the bucket that drops water in the shallow area doesn't reach. So only place my 5 year old would go is the baby pool as anxiety and sensory issues prevent her from playing I. The toddler, young kid section. Also it might be a positive or negative for you that the kids area doesn't connect to the main pool. The big pool doesn't have walk in access so those with mobility limitations may struggle. Overall a great little swimming pool.

New upgrades on the kiddie pool are great! The slides kept my kids busy for a few hours. Could use some green space for lounging , more chairs not in the direct sun and lockers in the change room would also be great!

Looking for the quintessential outdoor pool (think The Sandlot)? Look no further. The Magrath pool offers you all of the perks of an outdoor pool, such as water, sunshine, and the outdoors, without any of the frills. Enjoy a simple facility with a shallow end, a deep end, and a diving board, all for the low admission fee of 2.50. If this seems steep, look at it this way: you can send your 8 year old to the pool for FOUR HOURS of babysitting by the excellent lifeguards and staff for just $2.50. That's a cost savings of $57.50 compared to a conventional childcare worker being payed minimum wage. How amazing is that?

Also, you can buy a seasonal family pass here for JUST $110! That's a whole summer of babysitting, 4-6 hours a day, for your kids for just $110. That's a total cost saving of $5,410 compared to a childcare worker at minimum wage for the same hourly care for just ONE CHILD. The savings increase exponentially with each additional child added to the family pass.

"But wait," you might say, "I have 17 kids. How does my family pass work?" No problem, get them all on the pass! Have grand kids? Great-grand kids? Put 'em on! Have a nephew staying with you for the week of Magrath days and don't want to shell out $2.50 for him to swim? No worries! Just add him to the pass too! There is room on the pass for everyone here! Your kids will be able to spend an enjoyable summer at the pool, and you will be able to finally pay off all of your tithing with the pile of money that you will save!

But that isn't all. Thinking of swim lessons? Magrath Pool has those too! All within convenient walking or moped distance from your home. Granted, $30 is a little pricey for two weeks of lessons, but it will get your kids out of the house for 1 HOUR A DAY for TWO WEEKS. That's a cost savings of $180 compared to conventional childcare. AND your child might learn to swim, which will enable them to go to the pool by themselves and give you access to greater cost savings and cheaper babysitting in the future.

Are the lessons not offered at a convenient time for you? No worries! As a community facility, the pool lets THE COMMUNITY run the schedule. Just call the head guard and the town operator, explain to them that you come from a prestigious, deep-rooted Magrath bloodline, and ask them to change the schedule. They will absolutely move everyone else's lessons and programs around so that you can get rid of those pesky kids/grand kids for the week!

I could go on and on about this amazing facility and all of the reasons you should swim here. However there are some cons:

    1. You have to supervise your kids until they are 8. I was very disappointed when the lifeguards made me GET IN THE WATER with my two-year old daughter. She is a very capable floater and I can see her perfectly well over my book from the deck chairs. I paid admission to get in, it should be the lifeguards' responsibility to keep an eye on my children.

    2. The pool is open on Sundays. Not only does this defy the COMMANDMENTS and cause everyone who chooses to swim on Sunday to fall into damnation and hellfire; it also causes the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT, which should never happen IMO. Sunday should be a day of silent indoor reflection and prayer after church and NOT a day to go swimming and spend time with your family.

Overall though, I would highly recommend the Magrath pool. 6/5
