(February 3, 2022, 9:55 pm)Best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in Calgary and Western Canada. Coaches and colleagues make it a safe and fun atmosphere to learn this awesome martial art - 100% recommended for adults, kids and whole families!
Having had a brief experience working in Law Enforcement when I was young I've tried a few times different gyms and martial arts in different countries but thought maybe I was too old and out of shape to start but I decided to give a try at Gracie Barra Calgary.
I was pleasant surprised by the polite, safe and encouraging environment this gym has, if you are over your 30s, 40s or +50s - they live up to their motto "jiu jitsu for everyone".
The colleagues at this place are really amazing people - give it a try, you won't regret!
A special thanks to the the coaches, Vini, Allan and Gustavo, for their level of professionalism.

(November 15, 2021, 7:10 pm)The best Brazilian Jiujitsu for all ages. My 2 kiddo’s (11 and 7 years old) attend this classes and they improved a lot in Confidence, discipline and self-defense. All the instructors are amazing supervising every session. We couldn’t be more happier with this amazing family.

(October 7, 2021, 2:00 am)I have my two boys taking classes here and I am a member as well and could not be happier with our experience. Really great community and a great group of individuals helping each other train and learn while taking care of each other so we can go to work or school the next day. Coach Allan and coach Vinni are great coaches, professional and kind. I would recommend this gym to anyone.
