I would recommend you be extremely careful about how you utilize their services. At any given time I wasn't sure which member of the staff was working on my file, and getting a response often required more then one solicitation.
While they were professional and completed the work I had engaged them to, they were very VERY evasive about billing. There was very little transparency or communication in the costs at any point and my attempts to get further understanding were met with resistance. Compared to other accountants, the cost was about a third higher then my previous or new accountant.
The staff were all pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend you track as much of the work you engage them to do as possible so you have a baseline to compare against their total number. Be advised they are one of the few in the city who enforce a $800.00 corporate retainer at the beginning of every year's engagement.
I don't think you can necessarily go wrong utilizing their service, just be aware it will cost you more and there is uncertainty about the output of work versus the amount billed. I definitely felt like a cost center and an inconvenience at all exchanges, and definitely got the impression later on that the aim was to maximize billable hours. Given that the business is still fairly small/new, there may be room for improvement with more experienced management.
In summary, I would say the services met my needs but were priced significantly higher then industry and the customer service was below acceptable.
