It was great to be a part of the August Braeside Community Association Clean-Up Event! It's excellent that a day like this is put on for the community to alleviate their burdens of having misc. electronics, metals, trash & shredding kicking around at home. Thanks!

Air conditioning was broken and there is no wheelchairaccessible entrance or working elevator, so it was super hot and sticky during my son's wedding. Other than that it's a great place for capable bodies.

Playing for the house band, the Beagle Boyz at the Saturday Night Special folk club. Sold-out venue since I started with them in the '90's. For good reason! World-class headliners in a homey little hall. Good regulars and well-nigh superpowered volunteers. Shows one Saturday per month (..well, sometimes 2) through Fall and Winter. Also, season ticket holders will make their tickets available if a family thang comes up and they can't make it. Have faith! They'll fit you in more often than not.
