(December 28, 2022, 5:19 am)Originally thought this was a standalone family run establishment but came to learn this is a chain. Overall the food is ok but would have hope the food was freshly made in house. Falafel is re-heated. With other standalone Mediterranean restaurants 10mins away, there are options. I wish them the best still.

(December 24, 2022, 12:17 am)Overall great service, flavour is good. We got the beef and chicken mix wrap, they are very generous with the meat, a little too generous, leaving the wrap feel dry, if they add more veggies to it it'd be 5 stars!

(December 19, 2022, 2:06 am)I ordered the mix grill plate...I am speechles. The meat was so tender and well seasoned, salad was very fresh, and the hummus was one of the best I have had. Add to that an amazing decor and ambiance. Highly recommended.

(December 7, 2022, 8:47 pm)Got 2 of the bowls. They were priced surprisingly well at $12.95 each. I couldn't decide on beef or chicken so staff allowed me to get 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef. Each one comes with garlic potatoes, rice, hummus, and a Greek-style salad. Honestly for the price it was well worth it. The meats were delicious. The salad was a nice contrast to the hot food. 10/10 would order from here again. The meats and rice are gluten free here.

(November 30, 2022, 4:05 am)I visited this place for the first time tonight, 10 min before they closed at 9pm, I walked in and they all greeted me with a smile and provided me with an amazingly fresh tasting chicken shawarma plate. I’ve tried every shawarma place in the city and lava had their own unique flavour. Fresh tasting, sharp flavours of garlic and great tasting spices in the meat had me wanting more. The garlic sauce for the potatoes is amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back for more…….tomorrow.
