The Alice Bissette property is very well cared for by engaging and well trained Maintenance Staff. The building is clean and repairs are often done the same day.
~~~ There are however, a few issues.
This building was supposedly built upon an old petro chemical (???) dumping ground. It sits right beside Chemical/Petroleum processing plant and 1 block away from the Alyth Train yards. It's also directly under a takeoff/landing flight path for the air port so NOISE and AIR POLLUTION are a huge problem.
~~~ The closest major bus stop is about 8 blocks away as is the nearest convenience store. The nearest shopping is either down on 9th Avenue SE or way heck and gone across Deerfoot Trail South.
~~~ None of this makes life easier for the mostly handicapped and elderly tenants of this Horizon Housing property.
