I cannot say enough good things about my experience with HBD. I called HBD first thing in the morning and Dennis was over within 3 hours of my call. He was extremely knowledgeable and such a pleasure to deal with. He gave us peace of mind, assuring us there was nothing wrong with our foundation. I called HBD a few years ago to look at a what we thought was a foundation crack however it was minor, surface only and they made suggestions before we had to shell out any money however gave us a very reasonable quote around $500. We got a second opinion and knew we were getting hosed because it was a cosmetic thing and this second company quoted $3000 “at least”.
Here we are 2 years later we found a hairline crack on another side of our home which was also visable on the interior and although there was no water coming through we knew that as responsible homeowners it needed to addressed.
We still had the business card from HBD and without hesitation called them immediately based on our previous experience.
Heather was amazing and scheduled us in for the next day. The young men that came were professional, courteous and knowledgeable!

These guys are fantastic! After moving in to our new home we recently had a day and a half of steady rain, an existing hidden crack in the basement wall started letting water in and soaking the carpet, and after pulling the drywall and rigid foam away a 6 foot crack was revealed. water was coming in at over 60 liters every 24 hours we could hardly keep up. I called HBD, and Jim came out within an hour, evaluated the situation, said no problem.
The next day two techs came out and unbelievably got the crack sealed with it still gushing, it took four hours but they got it done, and stuck to their quote which was great. Highly recommended.
