Buddy of mine wanted to introduce me to fly fishing on a drift boat and when it was time to look for a guide, Rex was at the top of every Facebook group. Well, let's just say that he didn't disappoint! I was on fish within the first 5 minutes and by the end of the first 10, I had already netted a rainbow and a brown, both over 20 inches. Rex clearly knows the Bow like the back of his hands and he was exceptionally patient with a first time like me. He's a great teacher, is passionate about fly fishing and to top things off, is a great dude. No doubt this was the first of many trips with Rex!!!

Amazing day on the bow river with these guys! Beginner at fly fishing and they made me feel confident in getting hooked up with a couple stellar fish! Raft is super nice and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend them enough! Hilarious time, really seamless getting in and out of the water and the knowledge that was passed a long was priceless! Thanks for the great time!!

Hands down worth every penny spent. Rex was my guide and man did he teach me a lot. Not only did he get me on some fish in some of the toughest water conditons but I also added 40 ft to my current casting distance! I went alone so the one on one knowledge helped out a lot. Rex even said quote on quote when showing me certain casts "I will cut this line before I hook a fish" really making the experience all about the client. Definitely be doing another walk and wade this summer. Tight lines everyone!

Rex is a class act, through and through. I moved to Calgary from the states, an intermediate at the sport, and sought a guide to get into the groove of tackling Alberta trout. Rex came highly recommended. Not only was he quick and professional in response to my inquiry, but he was very fair in price. We had a blast on the Bow for my first trip. Since then, I have hired Rex for a small water Brown trout trip and a spey casting crash course. I feel like my ability to read rivers has improved as well as my technique. I plan on hiring Rex for two more guided trips before summer's end.
