(January 25, 2022, 3:12 am)My mother Dorothy lived at The Manor at Garrison Woods for about 5 years until her recent move to Staywell. I cannot say enough about the kind and caring staff at the Manor. I particularly want to thank Dawn, Tanya, Siya and Thea, who cared for my mom as if she was part of their families. They all did the expected things, but then went far beyond my expectations in not only caring for her health, but with love and affection. I know how much my mom valued their friendship, and what a difference it made to me knowing she was in such good hands. I also want to thank Jonah Suezo, the Wellness Director, and Karen Shippey-Hellman, the Director, for everything they did. I highly recommend The Manor at Garrison Woods, not only because it is a nice facility, and because everyone makes an extra effort to make it feel like home, but because of the exceptional loving care from the staff.

(July 5, 2021, 2:08 pm)Our mother, who recently passed away, spent twelve very happy years at the Manor Village at Garrison Woods, first in independent, then assisted living. We want to convey our heartfelt thanks to all the staff who looked after her so well, truly as though she was a member of their family. In an industry where customer care is not guaranteed, Manor employees are completely dedicated to their calling. Tanya, Dawn and so many others, showed daily thoughtfulness and kindness to our mom that was outstanding at every level. Administration, Wellness and Reception are very approachable and one cannot say enough about how well they handled the security of their residents during the extremely trying COVID crisis. Also, kudos to Jean who has revitalized resident activities immensely. The residents are wonderful and Mom was blessed with the dear friends she made while living there.

(March 1, 2021, 5:09 pm)I've lived at Garrison Woods for a while now and feel very much at home. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff has been helping me with online grocery orders and I never knew how easy it could be to get everything I want, and more, online at the computer desk. Great help.

(April 19, 2020, 7:32 pm)I want to thank the staff for all their help in allowing our family to celebrate my Mom’s birthday with her earlier this week. Despite their increased workload due to COVID19, they were very generous with their time. The executive director, Karen, liaised with me about our plans to serenade Mom from the Manor’s driveway, and also assisted my daughter with finding staff members to help Mom join our family Zoom birthday party. Thanks to Cindy and Christine for taking photos of the birthday serenade for us, and to Jean and Mark for their technical wizardry with connecting Mom to Zoom. Our family is incredibly grateful to all the caring staff at Manor Village Garrison Woods, not only for helping to make our Mom’s birthday memorable, but for keeping her and all the other residents healthy and happy during this difficult time!!
